New Educational Technology + Old Pedagogy = No Significant Difference?

Many of us try to train professional to update pedagogy skills to keep up with digital possibilities.  It is often disheartening to see that online and blended classes are mirror images of non acceptable F2F course delivery practices.  Read more about this topic here.  However, this article just raised questions.  It does not offer alternatives.


implementing a new technology like data projectors, to replace an old technology like overhead projectors, while using the same pedagogy as before, will almost always result in no significant difference for students.
